Itinerary Overview
The 9-Day South Luangwa Safari is one of Zambia’s prime Safari Tours in South Luangwa National park. It’s well known for its abundant wildlife over a area of 9.050 km². The savanna woodland is home to hundreds of bird species. You’ll spend 4 days at the Flatdogs Camp on the border of the national park before you move to Zikomo Safari Lodge.
Itinerary
On Arrival at Mfuwe International Airport, your driver will be waiting for you for transfer to the Flatdogs Camp. Its a drive of less than an hour from the airport to the camp just on the banks of Luangwa river. As you drive to the camp already lots of monkeys, bush bucks and baboons sighting. You will stay at the Flatdogs safari camp on a luxury Safari tents.
During your stay here you have 2 game viewing activities ( morning, afternoon and evening game drives, walking safaris) per day included. Our competent nature guides will bring you closer to nature. South Luangwa is very good for the cats big and small. Your evening game drives will be quite interesting. And your mornings and evenings you’ll be entertained by birds’ calls.

Beautiful scenery, lovely bird calls, hippos, crocodiles, cats, elephants and more.

Luxury Tented En-suite chalets.
You will be at Zikomo safari Camp for the following 4 nights . Nsefu means Eland the largest antelope weighing 1 000 kg. As you transfer from Flatdogs you drive through rural or countryside of Zambia. You’ll have a glimpse of the culture of Zambia.
The Safari lodge is also on the banks of the Luangwa river. You have 2 game viewing activities per day included of your choice( morning, afternoon, evening game drive, walking Safari)
