The day starts with the usual meet and greet your driver and guide for introductions and briefing of the Tour. You leave Lusaka driving down to Chirundu town. The road winds down the Zambezi valley, a mountainous part of Zambia which is  quite good scenic. After 3 hours of driving you come to  Kiambi Safaris lodge right on the banks of the Zambezi river. Later in the afternoon you go on a sunset cruise around the Kanyemba Island .

Beautiful scenery, lovely bird calls, hippos, crocodiles and more.

You embark on your canoe excursion today. You meet your canoe guide shortly after breakfast which normally is at 7:30a.m . After briefing of how your day is going to be like you set off to the river for action. You depart from the jetty and enjoy paddling down. You have a stop for tea from the back of the boat and you proceed until another stop for lunch again from the back of the boat. After lunch you continue down the river. A back up boat goes ahead of you to set up the campsite for your overnight.

After breakfast you will have a transfer by a motorboat to Kiambi Lodge. You have lunch at the lodge and there after you drive back to Lusaka,  180 km away.
